Hank and his siblings came from a very bad situation where they were starved and abused. They are now gaining weight and aren’t shy anymore now that they know not all humans are mean. They walk pretty good on a leash but still need a bit of work. They still need work on house training. They would make great family members and would do really well with kids and other dogs we think they would do good with cats also. They have so much love to give and are looking for a family that will take them running or camping and make them part of the family.
“Hank has been in foster with us for a month and has come so far in that time. He is a great pup, full of spunk but also gentle and sweet.
He is crate trained, sleeping through the night in his crate with ease. He is housetrained and only rarely has an accident in the house anymore. He has done fairly well walking on a leash for us.
Some things we have worked on with him is sitting before we give him pets and sitting and waiting patiently for us to give him his food bowl at meal time. He is a smart boy who catches on quick with training.
Hanks favourite things are running around the yard with his foster brother, getting scratches and belly rubs, and curling up with a good chew toy. He is a sucker for attention anytime of the day.
We think this sweetheart would be a great addition to any family.”
