Mike is a gem waiting to shine! He’s vaccinated, neutered, and ready for a loving home. He’s around a year old. This sweet boy, who had never worn a collar or walked on a leash before coming to the HDSPCA, is in need of patience and care. He had been tossed into a backyard and basically forgotten about. Despite his past, Mike is full of love and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is afraid of cats. He also isn’t comfortable around small children, but would be fine in a home with older, respectful kids. He also needs some extra time warming up to men.

While he may be shy and wary of new experiences, he's making progress every day. He has made such amazing progress and has come out of his shell so much! With the right family, Mike will blossom into a loyal companion. Let's help Mike find his forever home filled with understanding and kindness!
